FAQs

Do I have to have a Routine Title?

Yes, you have to fill in a Routine Title. This can be whatever you want, the name of the song, name of the student, etc. The system just needs a Title for scheduling. We will use competitors names for final schedules.

How do I submit my music?

All music must be submitted online through your Dance Comp Genie login. Deadling to change music is April 4, 2026 for the 2026 competition

How do I change my level if I have already registered?

You are able to change your level through Dance Comp Genie. Do this as soon as possible as the compeition will be locked for changes once scheduling starts. Competitor changes locks on March 6, 2026 for the 2026 competition.

How high are the aerial points?

Points for the competition are 27 feet tall. More information about the venue can be found HERE.

Can I have pulls in my routine?

No. For the 2026 competition, we are not allowing pulls and we do not have a category for this option.

How do we buy tickets for spectators?

Tickets for spectators will be on sale in early March.

Can I register for more than one event?

You can register a dancer for more than one event through Dance Comp Genie. You will need to pay two registrations to enter two events. Login Here

Is there a group discount? What if I add more competitors after my first registrion, will the discount still apply?

Yes! There is a 10% group discount for 15 or more routines. If you are adding extra routines after your first registration, please email us at [email protected] in order to get a discount code for additional registrations.

Will I have rehearsal or rigging test time?

No. We do not give time for a rehearsal or a rigging test time before your competition. We will have open gyms for rehearsal time and rigging tests on Friday April 17, 2026 for the 2026 competition. Spots will be limited. An email will be sent to all competitiors once registration opens for open gyms.

What if I don’t have my own apparatus?

Oregon Aerial Fest will provide silks (in basic colors). All other apparatuses should be provided by the competitor. An email will be sent out prior to the competition to confirm if apparatuses are needed.

Do you offer a refund?

No. Once you are registered there are no refunds. We do allow you to transfer your registration to another competitor if you are unable to attend. Please contact us at [email protected] to facilite this change. All transfers must be done by March 15, 2026.
